Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT and Security Manager to join our dynamic team in French Oceania. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing the information technology infrastructure and ensuring the security of our systems and data.
Responsibilities:
IT Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure to support the organization's operations.
- Manage and optimize network configurations, servers, and systems to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify technology needs and implement solutions that align with business objectives.
Security Oversight:
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, procedures, and best practices to safeguard information and technology assets.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging threats to proactively address security challenges.
Data Protection and Privacy:
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and privacy laws.
- Implement and monitor data backup and recovery procedures to safeguard critical information.
- Educate and train staff on security awareness and best practices.
Incident Response and Risk Management:
Develop and maintain an incident response plan to effectively address security incidents.
Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate potential risks to the organization.
Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with external vendors to procure and maintain security-related products and services.
- Evaluate and select vendors based on security standards and performance criteria.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT management and security roles.
- Strong knowledge of information security principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in French and English is a must
