As part of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution C&MD team, you will also work closely with your regional Litigation & Dispute Resolution C&MD counterparts as well as other members of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution team located across the globe.Beyond your immediate C&MD team, you will also interact with members of the wider Continental European and Global C&MD team; the Brand, Communications and Marketing ("BC&M") team; the Knowledge & Thought Leadership ("KETL") team; and the Best Delivery team.You will report into the Client & Market Development Director, Global Litigation & Dispute Resolution.What you will be responsible forRevenue generationSupport the Continental Europe Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice in implementing the Global Litigation & Dispute Resolution client and market development strategyShape, promote and lead Continental European-led Litigation & Dispute Resolution initiatives and campaignsProactively spot market trends and opportunities across all Litigation & Dispute Resolution product areas in the Continental European marketDrive and coordinate the process of pitching for significant Litigation & Dispute Resolution -led opportunities in the regionOversee the effective pursuit of opportunities, including everything from coaching lawyers to capturing practice credentialsCollaborate with Litigation & Dispute Resolution C&MD regional counterparts and peers from the wider C&MD team on cross-selling opportunities across the networkReputation management and marketing communications (working with BC&M)Support in building profile and pipeline opportunities for practice and wider firmEvaluate, project manage and implement best practice to business development campaigns, client events, conferences, sponsorships, PR, etc.Oversee multiple marcomms projects, including the delivery of directory/awards submissionsClient focusEmbed the practice in client relationships, across all segments (Banks, Financial Investors, Corporates), across the region, working together with client teams and practice specialists to identify and pursue opportunities to serve clients in further areasWork with Client Development Managers, across priority clients across all segments, on Litigation & Dispute Resolution -related strategic client activitySupport the client listening programme by conducting client feedback interviews for significant Litigation & Dispute Resolution matters led out of Continental EuropeWhat you will doThis is a strategic role requiring a high-energy leader who will be able to adopt a problem-solving approach to day-to-day support; guide others in resolving complex issues; play a key role in setting best practice and take the lead on the successful delivery of longer-term C&MD initiatives.QualificationsYour experience In order to perform this role successfully, the candidate will require:Previous experience in professional services business development (preferably in a law firm)A strong interest in and understanding of Litigation & Dispute ResolutionPrevious leadership responsibility and experience in dealing with senior management and key stakeholdersGood commercial awareness of legal market developments, particularly across Continental EuropeHigh quality written communication skillsCoaching, influencing and presentation skillsA degree (or equivalent) in a relevant disciplineHow we will support youFrom your first day with us, you will have varied opportunities to continuously grow and development your skills and knowledge.
