Albéa is a global leader in beauty, personal care, oral care, pharmaceutical and food packaging. Our site, Albéa Plouhinec is our European Center of Excellence for Lipsticks with production of caps, bases & mechanisms.

Scope
As part of the Service Desk, he/she will help monitor import shipments on Far East / Europe, U.S.A. / Europe and Far East / U.S.A. flows.
The work-study program will be based in Plouhinec (56).

Main activities

  • Requests for quotations from carriers/forwarders in Europe and the U.S.A., followup and communication of responses,
  • Analysis of shipping schedules from plants in the Far East and Mexico,
  • Participation in weekly shipment followup meetings and drafting of minutes.
  • Assistance with shipment tracking:
Use of Shiptify software,
Use of ERP SAP,
Communication with production sites (Asia and North America).

  • Assistance in drafting a monthly market update: information for internal and external communication.
  • Assistance with reporting production.
  • Various sales administration support tasks.
Accountability including KPIs

  • Guarantee answers to internal quotation requests in a timely manner
  • Ensure production of reporting on a regular basis
  • Be accountable for various tasks linked to international transportation and service to internal customers.
Profile (Experience & qualifications)

  • Knowledge of International Trade (B.T.S., or equivalent)
  • Student in Bachelor degree in International Trade / Transportation (3rd year of university / Licence)
  • Fluent in both written and oral English
  • A previous experience with an ERP would be preferable
