Type de contrat : CDD CNRS, temps plein, 12 mois renouvelable, rémunération selon diplôme et expérience.
Elle/il a une mission à la fois de recherche/développement et de service aux utilisateurs.
En coordination avec le responsable technique de la plateforme, elle/il assure les formations des utilisateurs sur les systèmes d'imagerie principalement confocaux , spinning disk, deux photons, light sheet , PALM et STED. Elle/il participera à la mise au point des acquisitions des utilisateurs et de l'analyse de leurs images. Les systèmes mis sous sa responsabilité devront être contrôlés périodiquement pour en assurer le bon fonctionnement.
En coordination avec le responsable scientifique de la plateforme, elle/il participera au développement de microscope optique dont l'utilisation finale doit être aisée; elle/il aura en particulier pour mission d'assurer le fonctionnement performant et simple du système et d'assister les utilisateurs dans leurs acquisition/analyse de données.
Former les personnels chercheurs, ingénieurs et techniciens dans l'utilisation des microscopes en comprenant le besoin biologique associé à la demande.
Connaître et faire connaître les possibilités des systèmes ainsi que leur limite pour adapter au mieux l'instrument à la demande expérimentale.
Réaliser périodiquement des tests de contrôle de performance des systèmes et rédiger des comptes rendus en utilisant les outils disponibles et développés sur la plateforme.
Participer au développement de nouveaux instruments en étant associé à 50 % de son temps à une équipe de recherche et développement.
Veille scientifique, technologique et participation à un journal Club d'imagerie.
Compétences : Connaissances théoriques et pratiques en microscopie et optique. Des connaissances en biologie
seraient un plus.
Connaissances théoriques et pratiques en traitement de l'image en utilisant les logiciels du domaine comme ImageJ, ICY, Metamorph. La programmation objet et sous Matlab serait un plus.
Bon sens relationnel avec de sérieuses qualités pédagogiques, méticuleux et patient devant s'exercer dans le cadre d'un service commun et d'une équipe.
Expression en langue anglaise indispensable.
Contexte de travail : L'Institut de Biologie du Développement de Marseille (IBDM) rassemble une masse critique d'une vingtaine d'équipes de recherche qui explore le domaine de la Biologie du développement et des pathologies qui y sont associées.
Cet Institut, unique sur le territoire national, dispose de compétences complémentaires dans les domaines de l'embryologie expérimentale, de la physiologie, de la biologie moléculaire et cellulaire, de la génétique, de la neurobiologie, de la génomique et de la bioinformatique. Les équipements technologiques sont rassemblés sur des plateaux techniques innovants et performants. Un objectif affiché de l'IBDM est d'intégrer de nouvelles approches à la résolution de questions scientifiques par le développement d'équipes d'interface avec la chimie, les mathématiques et la physique.
La plateforme d'imagerie de l'IBDM est dotée de 5 confocaux, 3 spinning disk, 2 biphotons, 1 STED,1 PALM, 1 light sheet, 5 video-microscopes, ouverts à une large communauté scientifique, du monde académique et industriel. Elle est aussi une plateforme d'apprentissage et de formation.
La plateforme d'imagerie de l'IBDM est une des deux composantes de la plateforme commune
d'imagerie de Luminy (PICSL), qui forme l'un des noeuds de l'infrastructure nationale de recherche
France Bio-Imaging (FBI), dont l'une des principales missions est de promouvoir le transfert de
technologie des laboratoires de recherche aux infrastructures.
