C&B Transformation and Transversal Projects Director (M/F)

As part of the Group Human Resources Department, the Compensation, Benefits and International Mobility Division is seeking to create a new position for a
C&B Transformation and Transversal Projects Director to support the Group VP for Compensation and Benefits in the transformation of the C&B function and its implementation, to support her in the missions specific to her role (in particular vis-à-vis the Board of Directors) and to lead C&B transversal projects.


This creation comes at a time of transformation for the Corporate and support functions, in line with the implementation of the Group's strategy and its new organization: Corporate is refocusing on its regalian and policy-defining role; each function and each area of expertise is steered by Corporate.

The Compensation and Benefits Department is responsible for defining the Group's compensation, benefits and international mobility strategy and policies.

It deploys these policies for populations managed at Group level (Global Leaders, expatriates), as well as Group programs (employee shareholding, performance shares, ENGIE CARE benefits program, etc.).

Working in project mode, the team interacts closely with the GBUs, Regions and entities on an international scale.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Build a strong and efficient C&B function

  • Finalize the function's Target Operating Model and adjust it over time if necessary
  • Propose the governance bodies for the C&B function and their role; draw up an annual macroplanning, prepare and lead meetings, monitor decisions; ensure that the areas of expertise (e.g. benefits) and/or geographical areas (e.g. France) are animated.
  • Actively participate in building a crossfunctional C&B community within the Group, with a twofold dimension: (i) business ambassador for Group policies and practices (One Engie), sharing and innovation; (ii) employee development: skills, career paths and succession plans.
  • Collaborate with the Group Compensation Department to design, monitor and develop compensation processes for Global Leaders as part of a continuous improvement process (e.g. role grading, annual compensation review, deployment of the variable plan, Group performance action plan).
  • Organize team seminars (France and International)

Manage and implement cross-functional C&B projects

  • Manage crossfunctional C&B projects within the Group.
  • Act as Project Management Officer for all current C&B projects
  • Contribute expertise to C&B projects/missions in order to strengthen teams in both the development and deployment phases.

Promote C&B policies and the C&B function within ENGIE and externally

  • Produce simple communication documents explaining policies and processes for the various internal stakeholders (HR CODIR, managers, C&B community, employees, etc.).
  • Contribute to the construction of the "HR narrative" on the C&B dimension.

Support the Group VP Compensation and Benefits in her missions of:

  • Governance: formalize presentations and notes for Board committees (CNRG / CEEDD)
  • Communication: prepare presentations within ENGIE and externally.
  • Steering: monitoring the C&B budget, analyzing its evolution and making recommendations

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bac + 5 (Master's degree or equivalent)

Work experience

  • 5 to 10 years' experience in
    Compensation / Benefits:
  • Experience in positions of operational responsibility, including
    management of high-impact cross-functional projects for the entity/Group with an
    international dimension,:
  • Experience in
    communications and management support, in a demanding context with a wide variety of contacts.
  • Experience in the governance of a listed Group is a plus.
