We are currently looking for a Sales Director (f/m/d) DACH to join us at Twist, Germany or Remote in Germany .

The role To play a leading role in the Business Unit Leadership team that operates across Benelux, DACH, France, Italy and exports into other Countries.

This role is a key position in our organization with growth potential to become the future Managing Director for the DACH Countries within Orbia Building & Infrastructure.

You will be a key driver as the Sales Director in the region and are responsible for the commercial success of the team.


Responsibilities:
Review existing the Building Segment Sales team coverage and competences in line with the plan to double turnover in the Building Segment over the following 5 years and grow significantly the Upstream Sales channel
Design and deliver a plan that grows the Upstream Sales capacity whilst maintaining and defending the Building Segment Downstream sales revenue, the plan to include which capabilities are required to be retained / not retained and those that need to be Upskilled / refocused toward Upstream

Active collaboration with the Growth Sales segments in such as Indoor Climate Solutions and Urban Climate Resilience in DACH to ensure that that Upstream Sales channels are working cohesively.

To act as Managing Director in the DACH countries and be accountable for the P&L.

Second Phase:
(All Sales Segments and Country lead)

To ensure that all team activities across Building / Infrastructure and ICS/UCR are aligned to the sales objectives and important direction of the business in both the DACH and the BU.

To ensure that the Technical Support & Design team deliver a proactive value adding and risk managing support service to the sales team and customers.

To drive increased value and activity and advanced processes from Project Selling, Project Profitability and Project Conversion:
To develop and implement sales strategies to grow specified products in line with overall strategy.

To ensure that all relationships with key customers are maintained and enhanced in line with business strategy and that communication with the customers is in line with the business message.


Profile:
You have several years' experience in a senior role developing and executing commercial strategy from a global organization.

You have the ability to deal with difficult problems and issues, interpret market dynamics and frame into strategically aligned solutions.

You are a good and effective leader and are good in developing relationships and are a competent negotiator.
You have good organizational skills, emotionally balanced and a strong team builder with good motivational skills.

You understand and demonstrate upstream sales and are a data led, action orientated sales leader skillful of driving an international team.

A sound commercial awareness of the building products and construction industries and can work with CRM and Project Management tools proficiently.
