Purpose of the job
Under the supervision of the Logistics Manager Freight, the Logistics Coordinator Warehouse supports the engineers and Freight Team in all warehouse and shipping matters. The Coordinator Warehouse plays a pivotal role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods from receipt to shipment.
Main duties
(Primary role of the job):
- Receiving & Put-away:
Check in and log incoming items.
Verify received items for quantity, condition, and timeliness.
Organize the movement of items to their designated storage locations.
- Storage:
Safely store and logically arrange inventory to facilitate efficient picking.
- Picking & Packing:
Collect required items for orders or events.
Prepare picked items for shipment, including labelling and preparation of shipping lists and customs declarations.
- Shipping:
Coordinate with freight forwarders to dispatch equipment for shipment.
- Warehouse Management System (WMS):
Inventory maintenance: ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
Document drafting and preparation: create and maintain necessary documentation for inventory and shipping.
Position relevant skills:
(Education / Work Experience, IT)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in basic computer applications
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus
- Driving License mandatory
- Forklift Driving Licence (CASES)
