About the role :
Deliveroo is looking for a dynamic and analytical mind to join the France Finance and Strategy team for a six-month internship in Financial Planning & Analysis starting July 2024. This internship opportunity is designed for students in the process of completing a Master or a Bachelor degree with a first experience in the financial sector.
As a Finance & Strategy Intern in our Financial Planning & Analysis team, you will :
- Financial performance :
Support the team in performing financial analysis to help drive business decisions, with a focus on the marketing spends :
- Help tracking and analysing the financial performance against our reforecast and annual targets.
- Cooperate with the business teams on the monthly reforecast process to ensure exhaustivity and accuracy.
- Participate in ensuring the accuracy of the financial accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of analysis for senior management.- Problem Solving and daily operation :
- Continuously collaborate with the team to improve efficiency by building new tools, new processes and ensure analytical training of the team.- Ad-hoc projects & analysis :
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and analysis based on business needs. Requirements :
- Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, excellent team player.- Experience being part of complex projects with multiple stakeholders.- Willingness to GO into the field and transform observations into hypotheses.
- Ability to work quickly with tight deadlines.- Advanced Excel and analytics (knowledge of SQL is a plus)
- Fluent and comfortable working in French and English.- Master Degree or Bachelor degree looking for an internship.
