Role and responsibility
We're looking for a motivated, get-s*it-done attitude lab technician to join our great team in the early days.
Your responsibilities include :
- Prepare the powder samples by weighing, mixing and grinding.
- Sample handling and moving to the designated stations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to laboratory instruments and equipment, such as high temperature furnaces.
- Accurately record data and prepare detailed reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized lab environment.
- Working with and assisting our team of experts with the synthesis of groundbreaking materials
- You may occasionally work on electronics tasks
- Assist in the development and optimization of new laboratory methods and procedures.
Qualifications
- You have previous experience as a lab technician or a similar role
- Skills in electronics, including maintenance and repair of laboratory equipment.
- You speak fluent English (the day-to-day language is in English) and French.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and best practices.
- Organized, and ability to accurately record data.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
