Manager, Sales

Job Summary

The Manager, Sales leads sales team in accelerating Equinix's growth by managing existing client base and developing new accounts. Responsible for leading a small sales with smaller revenue and bookings within region.

Responsibilities
Territory Planning

  • Develops and executes against a comprehensive account/territory plan leveraging internal resources (Sales Operations, Marketing, etc.)
  • Holds team accountable to drive territory plans and account plans for key prospects and customers
  • Partners with regional Sales Ops in annual quota setting process to set territory goals
  • Optimizes resources within team


Forecasting & Pipeline Management

  • Achieves and exceeds assigned sales targets
  • Provides accurate forecasts on regular cadence
  • Ensures operational discipline of team to meet forecast, following the principles of forecasting
  • Sets expectation and regular cadence for pipeline reviews; reporting pipeline status to direct manager


Build Customer Relationships

  • Plans, builds, and maintains long-term relationships with key accounts
  • Provides coaching on conducting quarterly customer business reviews and executive briefing with key customers
  • Facilitates key customer relationships to ensure timely resolution of escalated customer issues


Leverage Internal & External Partners

  • Implements strategy and communication plan with external partners at (Reseller, Platform, etc.)
  • Drives a coordinated sales approach with the extended sales team (Sales Engineers, Solutions Architect, Customer Care, SSA, Commercial Solutions, Sales Operations, etc.)
  • Implements and monitors demand generation programs and campaigns in partnership with Marketing


Solution Selling

  • Ensures implementation and adoption of solution selling skills (Selling Equinix Value) in daily routines of team
  • Approve solutions and value propositions being laid out for opportunities
  • May have vertical expertise and advise/coach team


People Management & Coaching

  • Provides leadership and direction to a team of individual contributors for defining and executing on their territory plans
  • Coaches to enhance on-going skills development and selling behaviors
  • Create spirit of collaboration, evangelism, and engagement with sales teams
  • Drives accountability for the performance and results
  • Leads team through changes
  • Owns and manages all escalations to senior leadership for critical matters
  • Ensures team adoption of relevant tools available for more efficient business management
  • Responsible for all hiring decisions and activities, compensation, quarterly conversations, performance counseling, coaching and career development


Qualifications

  • Proven years of experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree required

Equinix France Recrute un/une Manager, Sales basé(e) à Paris

Le / La Manager, Sales sera en charge de la direction d'une petite équipe de vente pour accélérer la croissance d'Equinix en gérant la base de clients existante et en développant de nouveaux comptes

Responsabilités

Planification du territoire

  • Élabore et met en œuvre un plan complet pour le compte/territoire en utilisant les ressources internes (Opérations de vente, Marketing, etc.)
  • Responsabilise l'équipe pour mettre en œuvre les plans de territoire et les plans de compte pour les prospects clés et les clients
  • Collabore avec les opérations de vente régionales dans le processus de fixation des quotas annuels pour définir les objectifs du territoire
  • Optimise les ressources au sein de l'équipe

Prévisions et gestion du pipeline

  • Atteint et dépasse les objectifs de vente assignés
  • Fournit des prévisions précises régulièrement
  • Veille à la discipline opérationnelle de l'équipe pour atteindre les prévisions
  • Établit des attentes et une cadence régulière pour les revues de pipeline ; Rend compte de l'état du pipeline à son supérieur direct

Développement des relations clients

  • Planifie, établit et entretient des relations à long terme avec les comptes clés
  • Fournit des conseils sur la réalisation des revues commerciales trimestrielles avec les clients et les briefings exécutifs avec les clients clés
  • Facilite les relations avec les clients clés pour assurer une résolution rapide des problèmes des clients

Exploitation des partenaires internes et externes

  • Met en œuvre une stratégie et un plan de communication avec les partenaires externes (Revendeur, Plateforme, etc.)
  • Favorise une approche de vente coordonnée avec l'équipe de vente étendue (Ingénieurs commerciaux, Architectes de solutions, Service client, SSA, Solutions commerciales, Opérations de vente, etc.)
  • Met en œuvre et surveille les programmes et campagnes de génération de la demande en partenariat avec le Marketing

Vente de solutions

  • Veille à la mise en œuvre et à l'adoption des compétences de vente de solutions (Vente de la valeur d'Equinix) dans les routines quotidiennes de l'équipe
  • Approuve les solutions et les propositions de valeur pour les opportunités
  • Peut avoir une expertise sectorielle et conseiller/coacher l'équipe

Gestion des personnes et coaching

  • Fournit leadership et orientation à une équipe de collaborateurs individuels pour définir et mettre en œuvre leurs plans territorial
  • Coache pour améliorer le développement continu des compétences et des comportements de vente
  • Crée un esprit de collaboration, d'évangélisation et d'engagement au sein des équipes de vente
  • Responsabilise les performances et les résultats
  • Guide l'équipe à travers les changements
  • Gère toutes les escalades vers la direction supérieure pour les problèmes critiques
  • Veille à l'adoption par l'équipe des outils pertinents disponibles pour une gestion plus efficace de l'activité
  • Responsable de toutes les décisions et activités de recrutement, de la rémunération, des entretiens trimestriels, du conseil en performance, du coaching et du développement de carrière.

Qualifications

  • Vous êtes diplôme(e) de master d'une école de commerce/d'ingénieurs ou d'une université
  • Solide expérience dans une fonction similaire
  • Excellente communication et fort leadership
  • Aisance dans la communication avec des tiers et les clients internes
  • Capacité à faire preuve de force de proposition et de proactivité
  • Capacité à adresser et à convaincre des décideurs de haut niveau
  • L'agilité et la créativité font partie de vos compétences. Vous êtes autonome, rigoureux(se) et organisé(e).
  • Vous maîtrisez le français et l'anglais
