The CEA is looking for a Software Engineer for AI-enabled Systems for the CEA/DRT (Technological Research Department) . This 36-month fixed-term executive position is based on the Nano-Innov site in Paris-Saclay, Essonne (91) .

This is a position to be filled as soon as possible.

YOUR MISSION:

As part of your missions, you will be required to:

  • Implement algorithms, data structures, and other computational techniques to solve complex problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components into larger research systems.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to researchers, including troubleshooting and debugging software issues.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in software development and apply best practices to ensure high-quality, efficient code.

REQUIRED SKILLS :

  • Master's, Engineering or PhD degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software development
  • Demonstrable experience in Java, Python, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with web frameworks such as Django, or Spring Boot
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
  • Experience working in a research environment or on research projects is a plus
  • Familiarity with AI and Machine Learning is a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Passion for technology and a desire to contribute to groundbreaking research in AI-enabled systems
