The CEO is looking at integrating a doctoral engineer in research and with a focus in waste heat, to work alongside him to bring their current technology to the next level, through innovation and experimentation. And this, in order to have a stronger impact on our society.
As R&D Engineer M/F in Physic and Chemistry, you'll be among a team of other engineers and directly reporting to R&D Manager.
In this context, you will be involved in but not limited to :
- Conducting active research in membrane and electrode surface chemistry and electrochemistry;
- Compiling and analysing test information to determine process or equipment operating efficiency or to diagnose malfunctions;
- Analysing organic or inorganic compounds to determine chemical or physical properties, composition, structure, relationships, or reactions;
- Conferring with your team to conduct analyses of research projects, interpret test results, or develop nonstandard tests;
- Developing, improving, or customizing products, equipment, formulas, processes, or analytical methods;
- Writing technical papers or reports or prepare standards and specifications for processes, facilities, products, or tests;
- Studying effects of various methods on your researches.
You hold a PhD in physics and chemistry.
After a first proven position - at least 3 years - in the field of industrial/applicative topics as part of your PhD, you have a solid experience in electro-chemistry, and more particularly in the fields of waste heat, fuel cells, batteries, energy storage (redox-flow), super-capacitive electrodes.
You are recognised for your excellent interpersonal skills and your common-sense. You are curious, someone proactive, who demonstrate motivation and commitment on a daily basis. You are a science lover and are passionate about renewable energy. Your friends describe you as a visionary.
Due to the international scope of the role, fluent English is necessary to interact with the different partners of the group.
