Your mission, roles and responsibilities
The Innovation and Generic Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating innovation projects within the Mechanisms & Structure Product Line, ensuring they align with the compay's strategic goals. This role involves managing resources, timelines and budgets, as well as communicating with stakeholders to ensure project success. Main missions of the role are to :
Ensure program management procedures are implemened and followed :
- Develop and manage program plans, including scope schedule, and budget.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met
- Monitor program progress and make adjustments as needed.
- Communicate program status to stakeholders an senior management to Generic & Innovation Review Committee and Monthly Innovation Committee.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with program execution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Provide reliability of program data at each phase, and to all internal customers (project managers, site managers, sales/purchasing managers) of the division :
- M0, M1, M2, M3 gates of innovations projects
- Support fueling activities ans potential of deployment of new ideas
- Ensure RFQ follow-up for M3 status project and transfer with applications
Provide program risk/opportunities analysis to the management of the division, globally and per project :
- Focus on competitiveness: Product, Process ans Purchasing improvements to enhance the competitiveness of Forvia's product plan.
Monitor Advanced Manufacturing Engineering activity :
- Oversee the development and implementation of advanced manufacturing projects
- Ensure alignment with program goals and timelines
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with other departments :
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between departments
- Ensure that all relevant information is shared promptly and accurately
Your profile and competencies to succeed
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Master's degree in engineering or Associate's degree in engineering/Diploma
- Minimum 5/7 years experience in an industrial environment including a first technical experience (production, manufacturing engineering,...)
- Team Management experience
- Technical products oriented
- Demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills, analytical and synthetis skills
- Fluency in English is mandatory
- Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment and manage complexity
- Agility and continuous improvement mindset
- Team work / Network agility
