To achieve our objectives, we are looking for a Data Scientist / Engineer (PhD) To follow the CIFRE thesis program among us.

Role
We are seeking a PhD Candidate in Data Science to join Bolero as part of a 2/3-year CIFRE thesis project.
You will play a key role in advancing the state-of-the-art in AI-driven predictive music IP analytics.
Your research will focus on defining advanced algorithms and models that leverage diverse data sources to generate valuable insights within the music industry, based on the analysis of various data types and taxonomies, contributing to groundbreaking innovations in the music industry.
Mission
- Research and Development: Design and develop cutting-edge predictive models using machine learning and AI techniques to extract insights from complex, multi-source data within the music ecosystem.
- Algorithm Optimization: Implement and optimize machine learning algorithms (e.g., deep learning, ensemble methods) to enhance the performance and scalability of predictive models.
- Data Integration and Analysis: Collect, preprocess, and analyze large-scale datasets from various sources to identify key factors influencing the value of music rights.
- State-of-the-Art Exploration: Stay up-to-date with the latest research in AI and data science, particularly in the context of financial forecasting and cultural economics, and apply these insights to your work.
- Collaboration and Publication: Collaborate with academic partners, data engineers, and domain experts to validate and refine your models. Contribute to scientific publications and present your findings at conferences and industry events.
- Tool and Model Development: Develop tools and frameworks for data analysis and visualization to support the product team and enhance data-driven decision-making processes within the company.
- Project Management: Manage the research project in accordance with CIFRE guidelines, ensuring timely progress reporting and collaboration with your academic supervisor and Bolero team members.

- Cloud Platforms: AWS (SageMaker, Redshift), Google Cloud Platform
What we're looking for
- Academic Background: You hold a Master’s degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, or a related field, and you are eligible for a CIFRE thesis program.
- First-time hire on permanent contract only. If you have already been hired, your application can't be considered.
- Research Experience: You have a strong foundation in statistical modeling, machine learning, and AI, with previous research experience in relevant fields such as financial modeling, cultural economics, or music informatics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and machine learning. Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and big data tools (Spark, Hadoop) is highly desirable.
- Scientific Discipline: You are capable of conducting rigorous research, designing experiments, and publishing high-quality research papers in peer-reviewed journals.
- Curiosity and Innovation: You are passionate about exploring new ideas and methodologies, with a particular interest in applying AI to cultural or financial datasets.
- Communication and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both academic and business audiences.
- Self-Driven and Organized: You are proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing your own research project in line with both academic and industry goals.

This is a full-time contract role that includes medical insurance, paid time off, and a transport allowance.
