**Role Purpose**

As part of the launch of a new operation at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), the Supervisor will support and oversee the setup and daily management of station operations. This role will play a key part in establishing strong foundations for the operation, ensuring compliance with airport regulations, and fostering strong relationships with local stakeholders.

**What you will be doing**
- **Operational Setup and Compliance**- Coordinate and secure the necessary escorting rights for operational activities within restricted areas.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with airport authorities and key contacts to ensure smooth operations and future growth.
- Keep contacts with key stakeholders, receive goods, spare parts, mail and communications on site.
- Explore compliance process at the airport in order to report internally all requirements from Customs, taxes, licence requirements.
- Set up facilities fit for operations, with required furniture utilities and connections.
- Ensure liaison with key contractors (cleaning, repairing, equipment maintenance, supplies, lessors etc) in order to set up proper operations start with no disruption
- Organise for manuals, forms and policies translation and hard copies available on site
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety, security, and operational protocols in line with company and airport policies.
- Conduct regular checks and inspections to verify compliance with operational and safety standards.
- **Team Management and Recruitment**
- Actively participate in the recruitment process, including drafting job postings, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
- Develop and manage team schedules, ensuring optimal staffing levels to meet operational needs.
- Provide on-the-job training to new employees, ensuring their successful integration and compliance with company and airport standards.
- Collaborate with management to identify training needs and implement programs to enhance employee performance.
- **Operational Oversight**
- Act as the primary point of contact for daily operational management, addressing immediate issues and ensuring smooth execution of activities.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of incidents, accidents, or safety concerns, contributing to corrective action plans.
- Actively participate in risk assessments and incident prevention strategies.
- **Stakeholder Relations and Collaboration**- Collaborate with airport representatives, suppliers, and external contractors to strengthen operational partnerships.
- Foster a positive team environment by encouraging open communication and collaboration among staff and stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates to management on operational progress, challenges, and key achievements.
- **Administrative and Support Tasks**
- Contribute to the budget preparation and management process, ensuring efficient resource utilisation and expense tracking.
- Oversee procurement activities to ensure the timely delivery of equipment and materials needed for operations

**What we are looking for**
- Working knowledge of general business management
- Demonstrable experience of Health, Safety & Environmental
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining effective working relationships, in particular with business partners, airport authorities and suppliers
- Proven extensive experience in team leadership and development
- Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
- Ability to prioritize workload in order of urgency and importance
- Excellent Communication skills written and oral needs safety adding
