**Key Account Manager Automotive **(m/w)**
**Job Summary**:
***Responsibilities**:
- Manage and expand cross functional relationships with existing and potential customers for our solutions.
- Identify, understand and analyze customer’s product and service needs.
- Lead contract and price negotiations. Own the sales process (pricing agreements, volume commitments, rebates, credit management, forecasting) and demonstrate commercial excellence.
- Lead the Account Team and coordinate pipeline development. Manage the resources required to effectively serve the customers, and lead communication to the customer.
- Develop account strategies and define tactics and actions to promote and sell our products and solutions.
- Define annual, value-creating goals consistent with business and account strategy. Monitor, track and report monthly progress of agreed indicators vs. plan.
- Develop and maintain market intelligence to understand customer’s organization and structure, competitive situation, trends and future needs.
**Required Education, Skills & Knowledge**:
- 3-5 years of experiences in an account management role in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge about Engineering Plastics in Automotive Applications.
- Experience in negotiating and closing sizable commercial deals.
- Market/customer orientation, a service attitude and the ability to travel (about 50%)
- Fluency in English is a must as well the ability to think and act in a strategic and tactical way. French and/or German language skills are a plus
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a diverse international team
- A passion for the automotive industry and the perseverance needed to succeed.
- The job holder will be a member of the Trinseo Automotive Team and will report to the Commercial Director Europe.
