**Mission**:
A group with an international dimension and recognized as a major CRO player in agro-sciences, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to strengthen the commercial team currently in place.
Contribute to the business development and manage the related sales actions, according to the strategy of the company and in collaboration with the Laboratory Director
**_ Main missions_**_ :_**
- Manage and develop the business with the existing clients
- Prospect new clients to develop the portfolio
- Management of customer requests, drafting of quotes
- Develop and maintain communication networks to enable the conduct of work in key areas for all major addressed markets and participate in networks (Consortium Biocontrol )
- Collaborate with the Marketing/Communication service to define the com plan and marketing actions related to the activity
- Attend conferences and industry events related to the business and it’s promotion

- Prepare the sales forecast in collaboration with the Laboratory director
You will be integrated into the BIOTEAM, a team entirely focused on new alternative methods with a transversal approach : laboratories, fields, homologation and R&D.
**Profile**:
**_ Profile and skills_**_ :_**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the business of laboratory services for Plant Protection and Plant Nutrition, Phytopathology and Bio-solutions for sustainable agriculture
- MSc degree (or equivalent i.e. completion of University studies of at least 5 years attested by diploma) in Agronomy or in a relevant scientific discipline
- Evidence of good commercial awareness, plus an ability to build and maintain strong and professional relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Team player able to work in an international business environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Dynamic and autonomous
- Strong communication and excellent organizational skills
- Fluent in English - The practice of a second language would be a plus
