The Sustainability specialist will help ensure sustainability compliance for all the companies belonging to the Middle Europe Region (France, Italy, Switzerland and Spain).

You will plan, manage and control sustainability issues to comply with key indicators.

**Work Tasks**

Your tasks will be as follows:

- Support process owners to develop and optimize existing processes regarding efficiency, quality and sustainability, taking into account sustainability Group KPI.
- Contribute to legislative compliance strategy in the different countries of the Region and verify the correct implementation of measures by internal and external stakeholders
- Cooperate in the extension of health, safety and environmental management systems in the Region to support the HSE local teams in reviewing all HSE procedures, harmonizing the content and updating the existing know-how.
- Provide analyses on the possible impacts regarding environment topics and monitor evolving trends and assess potential impact on business
- Build awareness of legislation, identify and lead to the prevention of any potential breach of regulation and permits compliance to avoid potential reputational damages for the organization and its stakeholders.

These tasks require regular travel to different countries in the Middle Europe region.

**Qualifications**

You have an engineering or business degree or an equivalent university qualification in sustainability or HSE.

You have at least 2/3 years specialized in sustainable development (companies with expertise in carbon CSR / sustainable development department), preferably in a multicultural environment.

You have a good command of the Office pack and the associated analysis and reporting tools.

Languages: mandatory proficiency in English. French is a plus.

You have excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to interact with a wide range of people (employees, service providers, etc.), while demonstrating your ability to teach.

The diversity of the assignments will require you to be able to work independently and be organized, while at the same time being able to anticipate and react quickly in order to successfully complete your tasks.

**Position details**

Type of employment: open-ended contract and full time.

Date of employment: ASAP.
