Dioxycle is pioneering breakthrough carbon utilization technologies that convert industrial emissions into sustainable chemicals with unprecedented energy and cost efficiency. By displacing fossil fuels for the production of key chemicals, Dioxycle has the potential to ultimately reduce over **800 million tons of CO2 per year**, representing over 2% of the world's emissions.
Our team is innovating across chemical, mechanical and system engineering to turn carbon transformation into an economically feasible, industrial reality by developing a completely novel technological approach. **Your Mission**
Dioxycle is seeking a hands-on **R&D Engineer **to have an impact on the development of our catalysis technology. We are seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working and technically adept individual who is excited about using their energy to foster innovation in electrolysis and have a tangible impact on global emissions.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Contribute to experimental plans to deepen understanding of, and unlock improvements in, electrolyzer performance
- Conduct hands-on experimental work and analysis: documentation, post-processing and interpretation of electrolyzer performance
- Improve electrode design and equipment efficiency
- Document technical processes, maintain detailed maintenance logs, and analyze equipment performance data.
- Pilot & contribute to R&D-wide initiatives such as improving maintenance strategies to improve laboratory operations and improve quality control and testing processes
- Actively foster a culture of safety in the lab
**Location**: Onsite in Paris, France
**Qualifications**:
To be fully comfortable with the job, you have a Master's or PhD in chemistry, material sciences (or related field) and you may also have 2-4 years of industrial experience.
