Specific Role Specifications;
**Technical Expertise Required**
- Active Directory - Identity and Security/ADFS
- Identity and Access Customer Engineers should be experienced in implementing, operating, tuning, and troubleshooting enterprise Windows Active Directory Enterprise Solutions. Experience working with identity products like Microsoft Identity Manager, Active Directory Federated Services, Azure AD Connect, or Azure Active Directory would also be beneficial.

While our key relationships are typically with our customers’ 3rd/4th line Windows infrastructure support teams, Identity and Access Customer Engineers will also find themselves working with engineering teams, so need to be confident working at this level.

The role requires in-depth knowledge in several of the following technology areas:

- Active Directory Domain Services
- Active Directory replication and performance Skills
- Strong Active Directory troubleshooting skills and experience
- Experience in Active Directory Disaster Recovery
- Group Policies implementation and design and troubleshooting
- Security and Administration of the Active Directory environment.

- Integration of MIM Sync Service into a variety of other platforms.
- Design MIM Portal workflows, MPR's, sets etc. for user account management across field and ministry functions

**General Customer Engineer Job Description;**

Customer Success Vendor Delivery Management is a global delivery team focused on Pre-Cloud (a.k.a. on-prem) DSE and Transactional workloads across each Solution Area and all A14 regions. We use a Pod delivery model that leverages MS FTE CE Leads who own the customer relationship and coordinate the work amongst a Pod of Vendor Customer Engineers (V-CEs).

Customer Engineer Job Description (Minimum Requirements):

- Key technical resource for the customer
- Focused on delivering proactive services such as education workshops, delivering assessments and providing expert guidance
- Join a highly motivated team of leading industry experts
- Train Customers and share industry and development expertise with them, either directly at Customer site or remotely, or combination of both (to be specified by MSFT for each role)
- Build strong customer relationships and ensure deliveries align with customer projects and milestones.
