Within the Global Marketing team, the Business Analyst is responsible for helping the team understand the company’s performance, competitive environment, as well as major market issues to build relevant strategic recommendations. This position will be reporting to the Global Marketing Director.
**YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Business analysis
Pricing - management of customer price list and quotations. You will manage the overall health of the portfolio.
Post launches KPI tracking - e.g. number of samples sent, number of projects in pipeline, win rate
Sales analyses by ingredient categories - monthly and yearly reporting
Market analyses to understand our market share, opportunities of growth and competition
Superuser of PowerBi, Sales force, JDE, syndicated databases
Portfolio management
Portfolio dashboard owner with costing, pricing, manufacturing sites, lead times, margin, catalogue or make to order
Global harmonization of product names and categories
Analyze and recommend product discontinuation. Coordinate rationalization process, Collaboration with cross-functional teams for an effective outcome.
Updates of internal and external product databases
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:
Advanced knowledge of Excel, knowledge of PowerBi and Salesforce is preferred
Fluent in English and in French
4 to 5 years of successful experience in similar function
Excellent communication and people skills
Good understanding of cosmetic or HI&I market environment (regulation, competition, market needs and requirements)
Demonstrate capacity to analyze data, to understand market and to share information
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in technical area
