Context
Sakata Vegetables Europe is a subsidiary of Sakata Seed Corporation (Japan) and is responsible for
the development and expansion of the activities across the EMEA area. With our wide array of
vegetable seeds, we want to create a confidence-based relationship with our customers, working to
our age-old motto of Quality, Reliability and Service.

Sakata’s Branded Business team is the team that is driving our development of Tenderstem® and
Bimi® across the region, working with our partners and marketing organization to develop these
brands within European markets.

further development of our Tenderstem® and Bimi® brands across the region.
Under the management of the EMEA Brand Manager, your main missions will be to:

- Manage the brands technical specifications for all partners in the chain from grower to retailer.
- Develop and manage the QMS system for the brands across the stakeholder base.
- Lead the audit process and schedule
- Own and manage the brands environmental and ethical standards
- Be the primary contact for all technical related issues across both brands

You be required to travel across the region at times to meet with growers, licensees and retailers.
There will also be scope for travel when the business needs arise for meetings and/ or trainings, at
times this may be up to 35% of your time.

Profile
experience in the produce or grocery retail industry is necessary. Previous experience in either
technical management or supplier technical compliance is essential.
The position mainly requires a technical approach as well as the ability to understand the commercial
benefits of having the right technical standards. Good product knowledge will also be essential to
develop.
You will work in an international project-oriented environment within a multicultural organization.
You need to have the capacity to adapt yourself to many different cultures and environments as well
as being able to demonstrate good teamwork skills. Excellent communication, analytical skills and
organisational skills along with a high level of autonomy and flexibility are also required to succeed in
this position.
It is mandatory to be fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking), other languages preferable. A
comprehensive understanding and control of computer skills are also vital.
