In this context, Akeneo is seeking a Global payroll manager to be part of our successful growth story and be the one of the leaders of our best in class People Experience.
**Job description**:
As a Payroll Manager, you will play a key coordination role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple countries as well as being the pivot between our People Experience Management team and Finance team.
Reporting to the finance organization, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing payroll activities with external payroll service providers. Managing the payroll process and calendar for seven countries, you will accompany Akeneo Group in its growth, ensuring that payroll processes are scalable to support the growth.

**Payroll coordination**:
- Oversee payroll processing activities for all countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with external payroll service providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll execution.
- Control payroll reports and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations across all countries of operation.
**Pay Calendar Management**:
- Develop and maintain a consolidated pay calendar for all countries, ensuring adherence to deadlines and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with People Experience team, Managers, and Accounting team to ensure timely submission of payroll-related data and information.
- Communicate pay calendar updates and deadlines to relevant stakeholders and employees.
**Business Process Ownership**:
- Lead future transformation IT projects related to payroll, serving as the Business Process Owner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and automation opportunities within the payroll function.
- Drive the implementation of new payroll systems or enhancements to existing systems, ensuring smooth transition and user adoption.
**Stakeholders Management**:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the payroll function, Talent Acquisition team and Accounting team.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to ensure accurate employee data management and compliance with payroll-related policies.
- Work closely with the Accounting team to reconcile payroll transactions and provide the necessary financial reports.
- Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits.
**Compliance and Risk Management**:
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, labor laws, and statutory requirements in all countries of operation.
- Monitor payroll processes for potential risks and implement controls to mitigate them.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
**Confidentiality and Data security**:
- Ensure strict confidentiality of payroll information and adhere to data protection regulations such as GDPR.
- Implement and maintain robust data security measures to safeguard payroll data against unauthorized access or disclosure.
- Provide training and guidance to payroll staff and stakeholders on the importance of data privacy and confidentiality.
Regularly review and update internal controls to mitigate risks related to data breaches or privacy violations.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification in payroll management (e.g., CPA, CMA, CPP) is a plus.
- Proven experience in payroll management in a multi-country environment.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
