Planning Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning Coordinator to join our New York Times office in Paris, France, where you will work in partnership with our International Advertising teams to provide pre-sale and post-sale services, and ensure excellent customer care to NYT advertisers across all different sectors. This position will report to the Senior Sales Planner.
This role is a great opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in Advertising within a Media and/or Publishing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
You will support the Sales Planning and Sales Teams of the NYT International Advertising department, where you will:
- Support development of RFP (Requests for Proposal) process assisting the planning team with media plans, utilizing the full scope of NYT ad products that strategically address the advertiser’s needs and campaign objectives for both print and digital.- Under the guidance of the Sales Planner Partner, build and revise media plans, check avails, reserve fixed placements and update associated fixed placement calendars for smaller budget requests- Coordinate the digital process workflow from RFP to IO and liaise with key approval stakeholders in AdOps, Revenue Analytics, Legal, Ad Product, Research and Strategy.- Respond to servicing and information requests from team members; work with various internal teams to gather information for customers, or to fulfill requests- Work on Print related tasks such as getting accounts aligned and set up for relevant platforms, reserving international and US print products, entering international and US print orders into the system and handling the print anniversary positions’ project- Fluent in English & French- Excellent Sales / Customer service minded approach- Computer literate (Power Point, Excel)- Self-motivated, autonomous, proactive, flexible- Great attention to detail and organized- A team player, who enjoys working in collaboration with other teams- Education: Bac + 4 / business school or equivalent experience
