**Job Summary**:
The MSSE-L1 is responsible for closely monitoring the security of Exeo’s IT infrastructure as well as customers’ infrastructures from all forms of security threats.

The MSSE-L1 is responsible for collecting data and identifying vulnerabilities to initiate Level 2 escalation within a targeted time frame.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor customers’ security threats and alerts;
- Monitor SIEM infrastructure health as well as customers’ security sensors health;
- Analyze network traffic, intrusion attempts, activity logs, and system alerts for trends, anomalies, and potential security breaches;
- Investigate security breaches and incidents, and assess the damage they cause;
- Conduct vulnerability scans, and penetration tests on customers’ networks, document findings, and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
- Generate cybersecurity incidents’ reports;
- Resolve issues in a timely fashion;
- Ensure effective and rapid response to major cybersecurity incidents;
- Implement security measures and software to fix detected vulnerabilities and protect networks, systems and firewalls;
- Ensure updates of assigned tickets - including internal and external communications;
- Stay up-to-date on information technology trends and security standards;
- Have the will to follow specialized training to further develop the required skills as per agreed upon training path, or as per company request and with respect to the employee’s professional and technical predisposition;
**In Communications**:

- Log and update all calls on the service desk system;
- Constantly updates the team leader on case progress using the adopted reporting tools;
- Report to the MSS Team Leader any breaches in clients/partners information security policies;
- Understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully;
- Immediately escalate any setbacks related to services or support to concerned parties.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Experience in information security or related field;
- Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, EDR and IDS concepts;
- A passion for delivering excellent service to clients;
- Organized, detail-oriented;
- Resourcefulness with strong research, analytical and technical problem-solving skills;
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment;
- Familiar with remote management and monitoring (RMM) and Professional Service Automation (PSA) tools;
- Strong knowledge of systems, networking, and communications;
- Communicative, ability to work in a team;
- Having a rich intellectual curiosity and an ability to learn;
- Willing to develop his knowledge and commit to a certification program;
- Dynamic, creative and having a good spirit of initiative;
- Flexible schedule and committed to deliverables.

**Work Conditions**:

- The support provided covers all projects and services that EXEO is currently affiliated with;
- Client environment may be their on-premise or cloud infrastructure;
- The officer may be called for interventions outside working hours in business days and non-business days;
- Shift rotation 24x7 will be required for this role. The capacity to work evening, overnight and weekend hours is required.

**Minimum Competencies**:

- Bachelor of Engineering in Computer and Communication Engineering or equivalent;
- Specialization or certification in Cyber Security;
- Experience: 0-3 years;
- Language Proficiency in French, English and Arabic.
