**Beskrivelse**
Søger du nye udfordringer uden for Danmark? Kunne du tænke dig at arbejde hos UNESCO i enheden for Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC), der fremmer internationalt samarbejde inden for havvidenskab for at forbedre forvaltningen af havet, kysterne og marine ressourcer. IOC's arbejde bidrager til UNESCOs mission om at fremme videnskabens fremskridt og dens anvendelser til at udvikle viden og kapacitet, nøglen til økonomisk og social fremgang, grundlaget for fred og bæredygtig udvikling. IOC's Ocean Science Section (OSS) spiller en hovedrolle i at facilitere og koordinere international havvidenskab og opbygge kapacitet og netværk af videnskabelig forskning på global og regional skala. Et vigtigt fokus for aktiviteter er grupperet omkring klimaændringer, havsundhed og observation og forskning af kulstof/klima/klimaændringer i havet.

Din ansættelse finansieres af Udenrigsministeriet, men UNESCO er arbejdsgiver. Du ansættes og udsendes på UNESCOs ansættelsesvilkår. Du aflønnes under ansættelsen i henhold til UNESCOs lønsystem. Ansættelsesperioden er 1 år med mulighed for forlængelse.
