Operations Technician

**Responsibilities**:

- Respect the group's safety rules
- Takes charge of the pumps after their reception and management of the complete repair files (workshop follow-up form / SAP pre-quotation with their certificates of decontamination and MSDS when necessary).
- Takes charge of the planning of dismantling and expertise of pumps from customers
- Carry out the reports and expertise findings.
- Preparation of repair quotations in accordance with the objectives set by the management.
- Processing and monitoring customer orders.
- Provide technical support to workshop workers in consultation with the manager in the event of technical problems during the dismantling/reassembly of pumps.
- Plan and participate in customer interventions for troubleshooting, alignment, and commissioning.
- Final inspection of the pumps before shipment (correct assembly / accessories present / painting / lubrication / correct filling in of the tracking sheets).
- Respect and ensure compliance with workshop activities with a view to safety (wearing of PPE / compliance with FLOWSERVE procedures)
- Consistent management of workshop equipment (metrology, machines, jibs, accessories).
- Identify and communicate to the Manager the workshop's needs (equipment, consumables, investments, improvements).
- _Plan and participate in customer interventions for troubleshooting, alignment and commissioning._
- Provide technical support to the workshop workers in consultation with the Lyon (Grigny) QRC Manager in the event of technical issues during the dismantling/reassembly of pumps.
- Support the Lyon (Grigny) QRC Manager during his absence.

**Requirements**:

- Reading and interpretation of technical drawings and sketches related to his field of competence.
- Knowledge of mechanics and materials.
- Ideally knowledge of pump failure modes.
- Work in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Resistance to stress.
- Reliability.
- Ability to express oneself, alert, communicate.
- Ability to advise customers.
- Adaptability to customer needs and ability to establish a relationship of trust with customers.
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
