**Missions**:
Le chercheur développera une approche expérimentale pour la détermination de la dynamique structurale photoinduite de biomolécules photosensibles in vivo par techniques de diffusion de rayons-X résolue en temps.
**Activités**:
- Optimiser des protocoles biochimiques de surexpression de protéines
- Exprimer et purifier des protéines
- Participer à des expériences de diffusion de rayons X résolue en temps
- Analyser et interpréter des données expérimentales
- Modéliser les données expérimentales par simulations de dynamique moléculaire
- Mettre en forme les résultats pour des rapports et des présentations orales en anglais
- Etre force de proposition pour la mise au point et l’amélioration des expériences
- Rédiger en anglais des protocoles et des articles de recherche pour la publication des travaux réalisés
- Participer à la vie en commun du groupe de recherche
- Aider à la supervision de stagiaires
- Participer aux événements scientifiques de l’Institut
**Compétences**:
- Compétences en biophysique ou physique de la matière molle
- Notions de biochimie des protéines (dont expression et purification de protéines)
- Maîtrise d’outils d’analyse de données expérimentales
- Connaissance d’un langage de programmation (Python, C++, etc.)
- Anglais (écrit/oral) niveau B2
- Capacité d’autonomie
- Pro-activité dans la recherche, curiosité scientifique
- Ouverture d’esprit et écoute

**Contexte de travail**:
Situé dans le European Photon Neutron (EPN) Campus de Grenoble (ESRF/ILL/EMBL/IBS), l’Institut de Biologie Structurale (IBS) est un acteur d’envergure nationale et internationale dans le domaine de la biologie structurale intégrée. A la fois centre de recherche, plateau technique, site d'accueil et de formation scientifique, l'IBS a pour vocation le développement de recherches en biologie structurale, un champ de recherche capital pour la compréhension des mécanismes biologiques fondamentaux. Il s’appuie sur 12 plateformes à la pointe de la technologie.
En tant qu’unité mixte de recherche (CEA-CNRS-UGA) l’IBS est composé de 21 groupes de recherche, chacun de ces groupes proposant une approche multi-disciplinaire, aux frontières de la biologie, de la physique et de la chimie, en cohérence avec 3 axes de recherche. Près de 300 personnes y travaillent: chercheurs, doctorants, ingénieurs et techniciens dans un environnement multiculturel et international.
La personne recrutée intégrera le groupe Dynamop qui se focalise sur l’étude de la dynamique structurale des macromolécules biologiques:

Possibilités, dans le cadre de réalisation d’expériences dans des installations pour l'utilisation de rayons X (même en déplacement), de travail hors horaire normal (week-end et / ou nuits).
