We have an exciting new opportunity for a talented **EMEA Procurement Project Manager **to join our GEIS (Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions) organisation with over 125 years of experience in protecting people, processes, and assets in the most challenging environments. Our strategic focus is on driving growth, leveraging innovation, and building capability across our global network towards diverse customer base - end-users, EPCs, integrators, OEMs and distributors.
**What you’ll do**:
The primary purpose of this role is to manage EMEA Direct and Indirect Material Cost Out and Business Critical projects. The role will also provide strategic and operational sourcing support to the EMEA GEIS sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Procurement professional who would like to accelerate their career in an exciting regional role. In this role you will have a unique opportunity to travel across EMEA and beyond to collaborate with suppliers and key stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:
- Manage Direct and Indirect Material Cost out
- Manage Business Critical Projects (NPI and Resiliency)
- Drive VAVE events
- Conduct regular IDB events with the suppliers and the key stakeholders to identify material cost out opportunities
- Ensure close collaboration with Engineering, Site Procurement, Global Commodity Managers, Finance and CI Team
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key strategic suppliers and evaluating performance relating to delivery, cost and quality
- Manage project team members to ensure on time project execution
- Support Price Increases and urgent material shortages
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a Procurement function this could be either in a manufacturing setting or regional/global sourcing
- Engineering background and/or electrical/electronics would be a plus but is not a must have
**Skills**:
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Ability to present and organise events for diverse stakeholder portfolio
- Can do attitude and willingness to travel across EMEA (25-30%)
