**Job Summary & Purpose**
The additive manufacturing process engineer oversees the new technology development process to put in production new additive technologies and new systems. He is in charge of developing the process steps and parameters in order to ensure that the developed system is suitable for serial production regarding quality, productivity and safety.
**Significant activities**
**Level 1**
- Provide engineering support for new product and process introductions, ensuring that all activities are completed and documented in accordance with the Stryker new product development procedures.
- Ensure quality of process and product as defined in the appropriate operation and material specifications.
- Support additive manufacturing new technologies development processes with respect of targets and objectives of the project
- Set up process flows while respecting the production and division needs regarding implants and instruments production
**Authority and decision-making**
- Manage project timelines and budget as part of their mission to guarantee the good health of the projects
- Training, coaching, mentoring of new hires
**Minimum Education (critical competencies) & special training**
- Engineering degree with mechanical, process or material speciality or equivalent professional experience
**Qualifications, work experience, skills and competencies required**
- 2 years of previous work experiences in a complex standard environment industry
- Experience in Additive Manufacturing or associated processes
- **Prerequisites (including special training and/or certifications)**
- English skills needed to communicate confidently in an English-speaking environment
- Excellent analysis capacity, root cause investigation and design of experiments drafting
**EHS**
The Additive Manufacturing process engineer respect all EHS directives across the group.
