The Role
As the General Manager, you will be at the heart of the organization's strategy and development. You will be responsible for defining and executing a long-term vision, overseeing internal teams, and ensuring smooth communication with external stakeholders.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Setting and implementing the organization's global strategy, in close collaboration with the board of directors and executive teams
- Building strategic partnerships, especially to support our growth and impact goals
- Overseeing day-to-day operations, directly managing an experienced team
- Leading proactive fundraising efforts, working with investors, donors, and institutional partners
- Representing the organization at international events, in the media, and at public forums
- Developing a positive and motivating work culture, ensuring talent retention and team development
- Monitoring and evaluating the impact of our initiatives to ensure tangible outcomes in climate and environmental transitions
