Job Description The Lead Product Manager will lead strategic projects, manage product squads, mentor product managers and drive innovation across multiple product lines. The role reports to the VP Product and involves strategic planning, product leadership, stakeholder management, roadmap development, market intelligence and data‑driven decision making. Position is remote‑friendly. Your Scope Coordinate multiple product squads while personally leading strategic projects for the company. What you will do Team Leadership: Mentor, grow, and lead high‑performing Product Managers. Contribute to fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Roadmap Development: Oversee the creation and execution of product roadmaps across several product lines, ensuring they align with company goals and market needs. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with product, engineering, marketing, and business teams to ensure smooth product development and launch processes. Product Strategy: Define and execute the product strategy, align it with the company’s mission and business objectives, and lead the development of new product initiatives and the evolution of existing products. Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to inform product decisions and maintain Joko’s innovative edge. Data‑Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics and user feedback to drive product decisions and measure success. Who we’re looking for 5+ years of full‑time experience in product, including significant management experience. Based in France or Spain. Fluent in English, written and spoken. Experienced in managing and coaching high‑performing Product Managers in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Strong technical acumen and understanding of technology applications in product development. Business acumen to align product strategy with overall business goals. History of driving innovation and bringing new ideas to market successfully. Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences, from technical teams to C‑level executives. Our hiring process Intro call: quick screening with the Hiring Manager or a recruiter. Step 1 – Team interview (45 min): conversation with two Joko team members. Step 2 – Role‑specific assessments Non‑tech roles: take‑home case study followed by a 45 min debrief. Tech roles: live technical interviews – coding interview + system design interview. For research internships, an additional round may involve analyzing and presenting a research paper. Step 3 – Founders interview (45 min): conversation with two of our founders. References: up to five calls with former colleagues or managers. Preferred experience 5+ years of experience in product, including meaningful management experience, ideally gained in a fast‑growing tech company or consumer startup. Led and coached Product Managers, helping them grow and deliver impact in fast‑paced, evolving environments. Combined strong technical understanding with solid business acumen, turning strategy into high‑impact products. Curious, innovative, always exploring new ideas, testing emerging apps, and staying ahead of product trends.
