Weld Shop Supervisor

Container Research Corporation, an AS9100 certified company with over 65 years in business, seeks a Weld Shop Supervisor. The weld shop supervisor will work in conjunction with our other weld supervisor to supervise a team of welders, fitters, prototype mechanics, and utility workers while working with all levels within the company to coordinate and align efforts to meet our customers’ needs.The right candidate will have:3+ years of manufacturing management experience,A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related fields and/or 7-10 years of overall manufacturing experience,A strong background in metal fabrication including proficiency in MIG and TIG welding as well as advanced fitting experience,Experience with aluminum and steel welding per AWS specifications D1.1, D1.2, D15.1, and D17.1,Strong computer and blueprint reading skills.Experience with Lean Six Sigma, ERP/MRP systems, and working within ISO9001 and AS9100 standards are pluses.Work Schedule: Four day workweek (Mon-Thurs) and WEEKLY PAY Full benefits package after 60 days of employment and paid time off after 6 months.Job type: Full-time, 4x10s Monday through Thursday, 6 AM to 4:30 PMPay rate: $70,000 - $90,000All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. #J-18808-Ljbffr
