Site Reliability Engineer Canonical is a leading provider of open source software and operating systems. Our platform, Ubuntu, is widely used in public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation, and IoT. We run hundreds of private cloud and Kubernetes clusters, and provide enterprise infrastructure DevOps practices to global enterprise and technology markets. We identify and address incidents, monitor applications, anticipate potential issues, and enable product refinement to achieve high‑quality standards in our open source portfolio. In this role you will work across the entire stack, from bare‑metal networking and kernel up to Kubernetes and open‑source applications, and may be trained in OpenStack, Kubernetes, security standards, Kubeflow, Kafka, OpenSearch, databases, and more. We are hiring a Site Reliability Engineer. The role We deploy and run OpenStack, Kubernetes, storage solutions, and open‑source applications, applying DevOps practices. You should be a software engineer fluent in Python, with a genuine interest in the full open‑source infrastructure stack and the ability to work in operations with mission‑critical services for global customers.
