Lead OneStream Consultant

ONESTREAM LEAD CONSULTANT (CPM/ SAP BFC) Location: Remote, France Employment Type: Full-Time Summary This position will provide an integral consultative component to our customer’s ongoing efforts to expedite the ROI and maximize the effectiveness of their business performance management solutions, especially OneStream. Consultants are responsible for providing solutions by working with customers to develop applications primarily for financial reporting. A Consultant has hands-on knowledge of OneStream and a track record of successful implementations as well as core product training. A Consultant completes the implementation work in a timely manner and can assist in validating the requirements and design of the application. A Consultant performs the routine and non-routine activities in each area of responsibility independently, with minimal coaching and supervision. OneStream Consultants typically work together with customer resources and frequently with a team of other consultants to implement complex web-based Business Performance Management solutions. Teamwork is an important function of this role. The ideal candidate possesses experience working in finance organizations, with sound understanding of the nature of work performed by financial analysts, controllers, finance directors, and CFOs. Successful candidates are expected to have prior experience working and implementing OneStream and SAP BFC / BOFC (formerly Cartesis) software solutions, ideally gained in a consulting environment. Preference will be given to candidates based in or within a reasonable commuting distance of Paris, where OneStream’s office and a significant number of our customers are located. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Demonstrate the core/advanced functionality of single solution on the platform through Proof of Concept Engage in conversations with Sales to discuss implementation of a use case at current or prior customer (or employer) Delegate tasks to and mentor junior members of the team Independently complete implementation work and project documentation Review and finalize documentation and application elements prepared by junior team members Lead troubleshooting and resolution of application issues Lead a full multi-solution design session; prepare complete design document. Assist in identifying roles and responsibilities for projects Provide feedback on team performance Responsible for managing small projects in accordance with the PRIME methodology Create and maintain project financials, project plan, and status reporting Mentor less experienced consultants for Lunch & Learns or Services Meetings Propose session ideas for Splash Author Blog Posts for OneCommunity Identify and recreate issues for tracking and resolution with product development Conduct customer training Lead customer meetings, manage customer relationship Present Lunch & Learn knowledge share sessions Respond to Inquiries from OneStream Employees via OneCommunity Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in fields such as (but not limited to) Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Mathematics, or CIS, or equivalent work experience. 8+ years of relevant work experience with Corporate/Enterprise Performance Management (CPM/EPM) systems 3 Years Experience with OneStream 3 Years Experience with SAP Outlooksoft SAP BFC / SAP BOFC (Cartesis) Statutory Consolidation Experience Extensive experience with SQL, C#, VB.NET or similar programming experience Prior Experience with databases (Oracle, Essbase, etc.) Proficient in English communication, both spoken and written. High degree of proficiency with MS Office and data modeling skills Deep understanding of financial accounting processes Strong critical thinking and analytical background (consulting, banking, research) Superior presentation skills Strong technical skills/background as it relates to product implementation Preferred Education and Experience Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology. A professional accounting designation (e.g. CPA, CMA, CGA, CA), advanced degrees (MBA, MFA), and/or other professional designations or certifications (applicable to accounting/finance and information technology) Fluent French communications, both spoken and written. IFRS Experience . Prior experience with any of the following EPM and financial management products is a plus: Oracle solutions such as Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Financial Data Quality Management (FDM), UpStream, Hyperion Planning, and Essbase IBM Cognos (including TM1 and Planning Analytics) SAP (BFC, BPC, SAC) Other modern platforms including Anaplan, BlackLine, Planful, Pigment, and similar cloud-based planning and close solutions Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to apply software knowledge to functional business requirements by leading requirements, scoping, and design sessions Ability to create and finalize project documentation per PRIME Methodology guidelines Ability to apply basic standard project management principles and practices to deliver results Ability to independently write advanced cube views, report books, dashboards, custom dashboards, quick views Ability to write increasingly complex seeding rules, custom transformational rules, CF rule, parser business rules, conditional business rules, cube view extender rules, dashboard extender rules, extensibility rules Ability to write basic allocations, custom consolidation rules, connector business rules Ability to write complex BR business rules Ability to design, build and customize Task Manager, Parcel Service, Guided Reporting, Help Desk, Specialty Planning Solutions, Data Entry 123, Transaction Matching, RCM, ACM Increasing ability to take on more senior roles in implementations including leadership roles with little supervision. Travel Travel Requirement: Regular travel is a critical part of this role and a willingness to travel up to 80-100% of work time is required.
