AWS is a leader in the cloud computing market, offering a wide range of services and solutions to businesses of all sizes.


We are seeking an experienced Deal Specialist to join our Strategic Customer Engagements team, working closely with AWS Service teams to develop commercial business models and inspire and influence key internal stakeholders to achieve desired business outcomes.


This highly visible role will own alignment with C-level executives, IT teams, and multiple lines of business to achieve business outcomes, increase the adoption of AWS services, and enable private pricing, go-to-market, pan-Amazon, and other strategic relationships.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Acting as a trusted advisor and thought leader in the development of commercial strategy and deals
  • Partnering closely with AWS Service teams to understand services and pricing
  • Inspiring and influencing key internal stakeholders to remove barriers and achieve desired business outcomes
  • Advising and constructing commercial deal terms
  • Facilitating alignment and effective AWS communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Cultivating best practices through analysis and reporting

About the Role:


This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading companies and build mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.


You will have the chance to engage with AWS customers on strategic opportunities, increase the growth of AWS, and establish AWS as their key cloud technology provider.


The ideal candidate will have several years of demonstrated success working with customers on substantial, strategic, and complex deals, as well as proven expertise with financial modeling for commercial pricing terms.


Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, Technology, or Finance (or equivalent work experience) and fluency in English and French are required.


Preferred qualifications include advanced degree, understanding of the technology ecosystem, and direct field experience in working with enterprise or commercial accounts.


Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
