Job Title: Chief of Section for Strategic Planning, Monitoring and Reporting
Job Summary:
UNESCO is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the Bureau of Strategic Planning, Division for Planning and Programming. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of specialized professionals and providing technical leadership and guidance in the implementation of the Section's mandate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Organization's Medium-Term Strategy (C/4) and the Programme and Budget (C/5)
- Prepare statutory reports on the implementation of the Approved C/5 and the related work plans (EX/4 and EX/5)
- Develop policies and methodological guidelines regarding programme planning, monitoring and reporting
Requirements:
- Advanced university degree in International Relations, Marketing, Business Development, Economics, Management or in other fields of competence of UNESCO
- Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible relevant professional experience in corporate planning, monitoring and reporting
- Demonstrated leadership in strategic planning and experience in coordinating complex multi-stakeholder processes
- Excellent drafting skills and strong analytical, negotiating, networking and advocacy skills
Working Conditions:
The successful candidate will be based in Paris and will work in a dynamic and multicultural environment. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
