Public Sector Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Public Sector Business Development Specialist to join our team at Dassault Systèmes. As a member of our Sales Team dedicated to Public Sector and Education channels for the South East area, you will work closely with the Public Sector Director to drive digital transformation initiatives with governments, public entities, and academic institutions. Our goal is to enable innovations in the public sector and catalyze the workforce of the future.
The Smart Cities and Public Services are at a critical juncture in the evolution of society. Elected officials, public agencies, and public contractors face unprecedented pressures to meet rising citizens' expectations. Digital technologies can be a game changer for the public sector to build a resilient and sustainable society.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor the Italian public sector market to identify partnership opportunities with public administration, research centers, and universities.
• Provide support in strategic market development activities, conducting in-depth market research to identify trends, growth sectors, and business opportunities. Analyze market data and information to provide useful insights to the relevant industries.
• Collaborate in defining lead generation strategies, including identifying potential customers and creating lists of qualified contacts.
• Support in managing contacts with potential customers through effective and proactive communications.
• Promote our solutions and training services for customers and partners.
Requirements:
• Graduate or undergraduate degree in Economics, Marketing, Communication, Political Sciences, Engineering, or similar disciplines.
• Strong interest in technology and public sector business development.
• Great analytical and research skills, with a flair for interpreting market data.
• Excellent knowledge of IT tools.
• Fluency in English and Italian, both spoken and written (Turkish will be considered a plus).
• Exceptional communication skills and predisposition to relationships, both internal and external to the company.
• Proactive spirit, flexible mindset, can-do attitude, goal-oriented, and eager to learn.
