Tactical Adventures is seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team in Paris. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, providing technical support, and collaborating with our team to ensure seamless IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical support and manage IT operations to enable the resolution of hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Collaborate with other IT Managers at Kepler for issue escalation and resolution.
- Identify and address complex requirements, workflows, and technology-related pain points, and develop comprehensive solutions.
- Champion IT needs for the Paris office and remote workers in Lyon.
- Develop and deliver advanced training programs, including user sessions, phishing, and security training.
- Collaborate with the People Team to ensure seamless IT onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Maintain and enhance existing onboarding workflow automation.
- Ensure appropriate equipment allocation and permissions management.
- Oversee the procurement, tracking, and disposal of IT assets.
- Manage software licensing, procurement, cost analysis, and audits.
- Install, support, repair, and maintain advanced computer systems and servers.
- Monitor performance metrics and respond to service outages.
- Ensure timely patching of operating systems and third-party applications.
- Lead technical IT projects, ensuring accountability for milestones and deliverables.
- Previous experience in a similar role, with a good level of technical expertise.
- Ability to work autonomously, with a passion for automation and improving work efficiency.
- Experience administering and using the Microsoft 365 E5 suite.
- Experience with Mimecast for email security, or another similar tool.
- Experience with endpoint security (SentinelOne, CheckPoint, Bitdefender, Windows Defender or similar).
- Creation of scripts to automate tasks in a language such as PowerShell.
- Working knowledge of virtualization, AWS, VMWare, Proxmox or equivalent.
- A good understanding of implementing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.
- A self-starter, able to multitask, prioritize issues based on severity, and work independently.
- Maintain close attention to detail and follows a task to completion.
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing in French and English.
- A good understanding of networking and localized infrastructure.
