AI Services Specialist Leader

As an AI Services Specialist Leader, you will play a pivotal role in connecting customers with Oracle AI technology, helping them modernize applications and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of technical experts, including recruiting, hiring, and training new specialists.
  • Work with sales leaders to provide deep technical expertise and support business growth.
  • Develop and maintain deep technical expertise within the team on AI Language, Vision, Document Understanding, Speech, Digital Assistant, and other cloud offerings.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure the Specialist team has expertise on new features and services.
  • Identify go-to-market challenges and facilitate access to this information for product engineering teams.
  • Pilot new technical features with customers.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and quality of team work.
  • Position Specialists as industry thought leaders in their respective focus areas.
Requirements
  • Manage a team of specialized resources that can identify business requirements, craft proof of concepts, provide expertise to internal and external teams, and pilot latest features.
  • Develop and deliver outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations, leading aspects of the technical sales process.
  • Advise internal and external clients on best practices related to pre-trained AI.
  • Guide customers in their application modernization journey through innovation.
Skills and Profile

We seek a professional with solid experience in Cloud Infrastructure, application development, and pre-trained AI, able to understand customer issues in their journey to Cloud and application modernization. The ideal candidate must have a strong Cloud IaaS/PaaS oriented mindset and a broad understanding of application development frameworks with proven hands-on experience in application modernization initiatives.

The role requires effective leadership, a positive work environment, and the ability to build and manage technical teams, work with various stakeholders, and adapt to new challenges and changes in the workplace.

Key requirements include proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams, analyze data, identify patterns, take informed decisions, and document suggestions. A strong understanding and practical experience in planning and delivering AI-enhanced applications with quick time to market, detailed knowledge of architectural approaches, and up-to-date knowledge of IT market and trends in relation to pre-trained AI are also essential.

A proven, hands-on knowledge of Python and SQL, understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Gen2, knowledge of Oracle Applications portfolio, and knowledge of AI-related offerings from AWS, GCP, and Azure are required. Cloud Application Development or AI-related certification and Cloud architecture certification are also desirable.

Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, including analysis of challenges, positioning, business justification, closing techniques, and ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication are essential. C-level presentation expertise and a BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent are also required.
