Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Support Junior to join our team in Barcelona. As a Sales Support Junior, you will be responsible for managing the sales of small and medium customers in the Spanish Domestic Area for Tubes (plastic and laminate) with a turnover of up to 2M €.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the sales of small and medium customers in the Spanish Domestic Area for Tubes (annual turnover up to 2M €).
  2. Focus on new business leads and develop and win new deals with prospects or existing smaller customers.
  • Act as the first point of contact for new leads.
  • Ensure all new projects/quotes are entered into Winforce (pricing tool) – training will be provided.
  • Communicate pricing and product details clearly.
  • Arrange sample dispatch and share existing technical documentation for your own customers and the Country Manager.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers to understand their requirements and provide timely responses to their queries.
  • Manage the customer price list and share the latest version with Customer Service.
  • Ensure new customer accounts are set up promptly and credit checks completed by finance.
  • Coordinate with the Country Manager of Spain to create customized sales plans targeting new and prospective customers for the Spanish Sales Area.
  • Monitor and report the status of sales leads, prepare meeting minutes, and distribute as appropriate (prospection pipeline database).
  • Carry out store checks every quarter – training will be provided.
  • Ensure trials, artworks, or development costs are properly quoted and POs received to avoid invoicing issues or delays after project start.
  • Liaise closely with Customer Service teams to ensure best-in-class service is provided to our customers.
  • Be available to attend sales trainings as required (trainings will be held occasionally within Europe).
  1. Assist the Business Development & Country Manager with ad-hoc admin tasks relating to existing business.
  • Track and update the sales pipeline through Winforce.
  • Update the customer price list on behalf of the Country Manager and share the latest version with Customer Services.
  • Arrange sample dispatch.
  • Coordinate meeting preparations (service & quality KPI across the plant, extracting sales figures, marketing portfolio).
Accountability & KPIs
  • Guarantee to maintain and grow the business, reaching sales performance targets on both volume and profitability.
  • Guarantee a good sales service and continuously improve customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that Albéa key performance factors, such as profit, working capital, overdue, etc., are maintained and improved.
  • Lead the RFQ process with all appropriate internal stakeholders (Pricing, development teams, and plants) with the support of the Country Manager.
  • Provide support to the Country Manager and track the sales pipeline proactively with the Commercial Excellence team.
Profile & Qualifications
  • Degree: Bachelor's Degree or above and/or at least 12 months experience in FMCG environment.
  • Experience/Know-how: Knowledge of Microsoft Office package with particular focus on Excel and PowerPoint.
Additional Competencies/Behavior
  • Ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Experience and skill in prioritizing tasks – efficiently managing your workload and time.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken & written).

Packaging experience will be a strong advantage, but is not a must.
