Nursing Care Assistant

Position Overview

The ADMR Federation of Drome is seeking a dedicated Nursing Care Assistant to deliver essential medical and social support to individuals across all life stages, whether in their homes or in a care facility. As an integral member of our team, you will actively engage in community activities and contribute to the enhancement of local services. The SSIAD in Bourdeaux focuses on providing nursing and hygiene care within the Bourdeaux region, collaborating closely with a team of nurses, nursing assistants, and a nurse coordinator, alongside local medical professionals.

Nursing Care Assistant - Location: Bourdeaux (M/F)

Contract Type: Fixed-Term

• Deliver personal hygiene care and clinical oversight in home settings
• Assist with daily hygiene tasks, including changing, dressing, and undressing
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting findings to the Nurse Coordinator
• Assess and document the condition of the beneficiary's skin
• Oversee medication administration
• Provide guidance on hydration and nutritional needs
• Track the beneficiary's food and fluid consumption
• Ensure adherence to safe care protocols
• Facilitate ergonomic mobilizations
• Confirm beneficiary positioning for safety
• Evaluate the appropriateness of equipment based on the beneficiary's capabilities
• Foster relational care to combat feelings of isolation
• Establish a trusting rapport with beneficiaries
• Actively listen to assess and address their needs
• Maintain effective written and verbal communication
• Alert the nurse regarding any health deterioration
• Provide regular updates on patient documentation
• Engage in team meetings and collaborate with home care professionals
• Supervise and mentor students in their skill development
• Welcome and orient students
• Assist the Nurse Coordinator in organizing internships and proposing learning pathways
• Guide students through their daily learning experiences
• Evaluate student skill acquisition in conjunction with the nursing team and Nurse Coordinator

• State Nursing Assistant Diploma is mandatory
• Experience in home care is preferred
• Familiarity with the associative sector is advantageous
• Understanding of professional boundaries and ethical standards
• Availability for morning, evening, and weekend shifts
• Valid Driver's License is required
