Scope of work:

The Senior Backend Developer will be a key member of our development teams, designing and developing application backgrounds. As a Senior, you will be a reliable tech expert, helping others grow technically, solving problems, and writing code with your team.

Your profile:

  • You have a Bachelor or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical field, and ideally 4+ years of professional experience as an in-house backend developer.
  • You are passionate about software development, concurrency mechanisms, and building small, intercommunicating services using REST, gRPC, and RabbitMQ.
  • You want to work on a brand-new platform integrating multiple services using technologies such as Golang, Node.js, and you have a solid experience in one of them.
  • Git is your default version-control system.
  • You have a good team spirit and communicate easily in an international and multicultural environment.
  • You are fluent in English.

You get bonus points if you have any of the following:

  • Knowledge of inter-process communication using a queue-messaging system (RabbitMQ).
  • Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, and MinIO.
  • Experience with Docker and GitLab CI.
  • Experience with one or more of those libraries: TypeScript, Rust, Qt.
  • Good understanding of what is functional and reactive programming.
  • Experience with agile development.
