Senior Project Leader

As a Senior Project Leader, you will take charge of delivering significant projects within major global pharmaceutical organizations. Your proficiency in overseeing intricate projects, especially in the oncology domain, along with your insights into analytics or AI, will be vital for the success of these endeavors. You will be tasked with managing high-level stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment with corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the planning, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale digital and IT initiatives within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources to guarantee favorable project results.
- Lead project teams and collaborate with various departments to meet project goals.
- Communicate efficiently with senior stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges to ensure timely project completion.
- Leverage your expertise in oncology and analytics/AI to guide project decisions and strategies.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Facilitate regular project meetings and ensure clear communication across project teams.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to gather requirements, provide project updates, and address any concerns.
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful project completion.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Foster a collaborative team environment and provide leadership and guidance to project team members.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on digital or IT project delivery within large global pharmaceutical organizations.
- Proven experience managing high-visibility programs and engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Oncology experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of analytics or AI is a significant advantage.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
