Job Title: Salesforce Technical Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Developer to join our team at Dassault Systèmes. As a Salesforce Technical Developer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering key program initiatives, partnering with our Product Owners, Business SMEs, and Stakeholders to translate requirements into business applications using Salesforce technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Salesforce Solutions: Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce to support business requirements.
- Application Development: Develop basic Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Lightning Web Components, and design and implement interfaces and APIs utilizing web services and Apex code.
- Data Integration: Participate in the design of data integration to connect and other systems.
- Workflow and Validation: Create and maintain workflows, approval processes, and validation rules based on internal stakeholder requirements.
- Research and Development: Research new releases of and understand how they impact our organization.
- Data Manipulation: Manipulate and import and export data using Data Loader.
- Quote to Cash Applications: Maintain and create Quote to cash applications, product hierarchy, price lists. Knowledge of CPQ configuration is a plus.
- Professional Services Automation (PSA): Domain knowledge of PSA and prior implementation of PSA apps on Salesforce platform is a plus.
- Technical Documentation: Contribute to technical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Experience: 5+ years' experience configuring/developing Salesforce. Strong analytical skills and experience working in waterfall, scrum, lean, and/or agile methodologies. Knowledge of Life Science Industry and CPQ is a plus.
- Skills: Ability to balance platform declarative configuration with programmatic development (Apex, Components, etc.). Proficient in programmatic development (Apex) and declarative Salesforce platform development including but not limited to: Reports, Dashboards, Custom Object/Fields, Validation Rules, Flow, Page Layout, Flexipage, Lightning Components, Salesforce API development.
- Personal Qualities: Initiative-taking, results-oriented, excels in a team environment, innovative individual able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Additional Requirements: Thorough understanding of platform out-of-the-box functionality and configuration. Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) especially as related to Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines. Salesforce Certifications in Platform App Building, Cloud/Consultant and CPQ certifications are highly desirable.
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $96,000 - 128,000 USD Annual. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Dassault Systèmes provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Dassault Systèmes' non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
