Job Description

The Amazon Payment Acceptance & Experience Team is responsible for how Amazon's customers pay on Amazon's sites and through Amazon's services around the globe. As a key member of this team, you will work with the biggest players in the payments industry to deliver best-in-class customer payment experiences while driving change in the industry.

You will use your experience to create and maintain relationships with policy makers, trade groups, consortiums or working groups to deliver better paying experiences in the EU. You will support internal stakeholders who rely on such relationships to deliver their plan and make recommendations on how to deliver such engagement.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Keep track of the business goals and what engagement they need with policy makers or trade groups.
  • Build mechanisms to ensure the efficiency of the engagement (stakeholders management, heatmap) and build bridges between internal teams.
  • Represent Amazon Payments Acceptance in relevant forums.
  • Proactively work directly with internal teams to build the right talking points ahead of engagement.
  • Proactively create a feedback loop back to the internal business teams your support to flag risks or opportunities.

Requirements

  • Few years of experience in roles such as Program Management, Partner Management or related area in Europe.
  • Track record of delivering strategic vision.
  • Proven deep dive skills to understand drivers, risks and opportunities, quantitatively or qualitatively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to regularly travel regionally in Europe and periodically to the US. Expected travel
