Join our team at Société Générale Assurances as a Senior Associate Regulatory Affairs, where you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
About the Role:The Senior Associate Regulatory Affairs will be responsible for delivering key insights from analyzing profitability information and converting these into actionable conclusions that can be shared with senior management.
- Analyze, challenge, and propose decisions regarding pricing proposals that exceed local country mandates while ensuring sufficient quality standards.
- Act as a strategic partner of commercial teams for all international business proposals and tenders for both international customers and partners.
- Execute business performance reviews based on financial reports on quotations, orders, contracts, or customer profitability, and discuss these with relevant stakeholders.
- Evaluate the quality of local pricing committee minutes submitted by countries and challenge the portfolio analysis and performance.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A university degree in Economics or Business Administration.
- Strong analytical skills proven by work experience in controlling, data analytics, or a related role.
- Proficiency in accounting or international financial reporting standards.
- Structured thinking and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to engage with and influence people and steer them towards results without formal authority.
You will need:
- Business Controller: 5+ years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years in financial services or the automotive industry.
- Senior Business Controller: 8+ years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in financial services or the automotive industry.
- Experience in self-steered leading multi-national transformation/improvement projects.
- Experience implementing management methodologies (MBO/LEAN Six Sigma/PDCA) at other leading companies.
You will need to be fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
