Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Cloud Database Architect Expert to join our team in France. As a Cloud Database Architect Expert, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based database solutions for our customers.
Your primary focus will be on collaborating with our field sales teams to support customers with their database workload challenges. You will also represent the voice of the customer to internal teams to drive the best outcomes for customers.
You will have the opportunity to develop thought leadership content, such as reference architectures and best practice blogs, to share with our worldwide database and analytics community.
In addition, you will capture best-practices from engineering and field teams, share patterns and solutions, and collaborate with AWS field teams to build a strong worldwide database and analytics community.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with AWS field sales in France to support customers with their database workload challenges.
- Represent the voice of the customer to internal teams to drive the best outcomes for customers.
- Develop thought leadership content, such as reference architectures and best practice blogs.
- Capture best-practices from engineering and field teams, share patterns and solutions.
- Collaborate with AWS field teams to build a strong worldwide database and analytics community.
- Proven experience with Relational and/or Non-Relational Database implementations, operations and/or solution deployment experience in a business-critical, high-availability context.
- Working knowledge of modern software development practices such as agile methodologies and DevOps.
- Website/web services as well as traditional IT networking, operations, management, and security experience.
- Infrastructure requirements such as Networking, Storage, and Hardware Optimization.
- Implementation and tuning experience of Databases including knowledge of Schema Design, Query Tuning and Optimization, and Data Migration and Integration.
- Experience with presentations and speaking with executives, IT, management, and developers.
- Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
