Job Description

As a key member of our team at Expeditors, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and timely flow of freight operations. Your primary responsibility will be to optimize route planning and truck utilization, ensuring accurate and timely data entry into our operational system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing.
  • Interact with customers (internal and external) to arrange their GNS shipments, meeting customer service standards.
  • Contribute to and maintain a good relationship with suppliers.
  • Meet compliance requirements at all times, adhering to government regulations and internal policies.
  • Understand department process flow and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure all standard operating procedures are in place and updated in the DLSOPs.
  • Meet KPI standards in accordance with the Company's procedures.
  • Communicate effectively and escalate problems to Management when necessary.
  • Promote compliance and perform tasks with outstanding integrity and pride.
Requirements
  • 6 months to 1 year of related experience.
  • Expeditors' Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Basic local regulatory knowledge for compliance.
  • Global Logistics Industry knowledge.
  • Hazardous materials certification (preferred).
  • Pro-active, strong organizational skills.
  • Good computer skills (Excel, Word).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including listening, comprehension, and clear communication.
  • Positive and willing to help attitude.
