Fed Group Seeks Automation Project Lead

We are searching for a highly motivated and experienced Automation Project Lead to join our Engineering Department. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving the success of automation projects within the paper manufacturing industry.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Identify and analyze internal needs and new installation requests from clients.
  • Develop preliminary project plans, budgets, and pre-studies to ensure feasibility and alignment with client requirements.
  • Define detailed project specifications and schedules, outlining clear milestones and deliverables.
  • Manage supplier relationships, conducting technical and economic comparisons to select the most suitable solutions.
  • Oversee internal and external studies, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
  • Lead the entire project lifecycle, effectively managing Technical, Quality, Cost, and Time aspects while prioritizing safety and environmental considerations.
  • Participate in equipment installation and commissioning, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Validate equipment performance through rigorous testing and documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Stay abreast of technological advancements and regulatory changes within the automation industry.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrotechnics or Industrial Automation is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in industrial environments, with a proven track record in automation projects.
  • Hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, or service of industrial equipment.
  • Proficiency in automation programming languages such as SIEMENS Step 7, TIA, PCS7, and ABB.
  • Solid understanding of industrial network architecture and protocols.
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on Quality, Cost, Time, Technical aspects, Safety, and Environment.
  • Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
  • Professional English proficiency and mastery of relevant IT tools.
  • Electrical authorization is required.
